Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors Annual Conference – Donald Broadbent Lecture

Margaret was honoured to have been invited to give the Donald Broadbent memorial lecture at the Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors annual conference in April 2010. She chose to draw on her environmental interests and consider the impact of these on ergonomics. The talk was entitled Green Ergonomics: embracing the challenges of climate change

She has written an article summarising the talk, which was published in The Ergonomist. It is available
here.

An Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors Special Interest Group, Green Ergonomics, is being set up to respond to these issues. Please email us if you are interested in finding out more.
